I am hoping Cody will have a bounce back season. He had a couple of nasty concussions from fights last year and he just didn't seem right for weeks at a time. Hopefully with Scott and Ott on the team, he won't have to square off every night and can focus on being a 4th line energy/grinder. He's shown that he can contribute some points when given the chance.

He did? Wow... I never knew that. He's one of those guys that you love because of his outstanding effort, that could end up easily (and undeservedly) losing his roster spot. I hate to see that kind of thing happen. He's one of the few honest, clean tough guys left. You never see him gooning it up like a Shawn Thornton.

I know one of them was from that fight with Tanner Glass; both guys took some nasty shots in that one. A few nights later was the Miller-Lucic game and Cody was a ghost out there. Paul Hamilton said he could tell something wasn't right with him when he looked in his eyes that night and when you consider the fact that he didn't even engage anyone during that game, which isn't like him at all, it was obvious that he was really hurting.

I like when a grit guy can do something lik kill penalties (Kaleta) I'm not sure if mc Cormic has the skill, but I would love to see more of our 3rd and 4th line guys help out the top 6. I would expect more goals across the board if our first or second line could step out well rested after we just killed a 2minute penalty.
